Job summary

UFCU Main in Austin seeks a Regional Manager to lead Retail Centers within the North Region, aligning sales, service, and operations with UFCU’s strategic plan.

You will mentor branch managers, analyze performance data, and drive market growth while upholding Total Member Experience. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration across departments, and travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of management / leadership experience, preferably in financial services or retail.
• Hands-on, engaged leadership including coaching managers, developing teams, driving accountability, and improving performance across sales, service, operations, staffing, and member experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial services, banking, or retail sales/service.
• Strong understanding of branch operations, member engagement, financial products, regulatory requirements, and service excellence standards.
• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or relationship management roles.

Responsibilities

• Leads operational leadership across multiple financial centers, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supports day-to-day operational performance and analyzes performance data to improve efficiency and staffing alignment.
• Partners with Branch Managers to ensure lobby readiness, reduce member wait times, and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Drives team support and development with coaching, succession readiness, and accountability.
• Leads business development efforts to grow membership and partnerships across the region.
• Represents UFCU in community events and partnerships to strengthen market presence.
