Job summary

A bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience are required; a master's degree and public university

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field with five years of experience in community relations, public affairs, or external engagement.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is preferred.
• Experience within a public research university or similarly complex organization is desirable.
• Familiarity with Georgia's civic and economic development landscape.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with civic leaders, chambers, and development authorities.
• Support regional programs, events, and outreach initiatives.
• Represent Augusta University at regional meetings and forums.
• Plan, develop, and execute signature events and engagement initiatives across North Georgia.
