Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with five years of experience in community relations, public affairs, or external engagement.
• Masters degree preferred in a related field.
• Experience in a public research university or similarly complex organization.
• Familiarity with Georgia's civic and economic development landscape.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with civic leaders, chambers, and development authorities.
• Plan, develop, and execute regional events and outreach initiatives.
• Represent Augusta University at regional meetings and forums.
• Coordinate with regional staff, government relations, academic units, and external partners to ensure events align with priorities and brand standards.
• Evaluate event outcomes and report engagement data to leadership.
