Job description

Our client, a leading provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professionals and businesses, is looking to hire a Part-Time Family Law Attorney. This is a fully REMOTE 3-month contract position.

Must have: 5+ years of experience as a Family Law Attorney, including juvenile law

Member, in good standing, of the North Carolina State Bar

As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising practical guidance templates on family law documents. Your tasks include reviewing and updating affidavits, agreements, and related documents, and supplementing existing documents with state-specific, practical guidance based on law, local customs, and legal practice experience.

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential extension)

Part Time: 5-15 hours/week

Responsibilities:
  1. Draft, review, and revise family law guidance templates and documents
  2. Review and update affidavits, agreements, and related family law documents
  3. Incorporate state-specific guidance based on law, customs, and practice
Qualifications:
  1. Law degree from an accredited law school
  2. Member, in good standing, of the North Carolina State Bar
  3. 5+ years of experience as a practicing family law attorney, including juvenile law
  4. Experience drafting affidavits, agreements, and related documents
  5. Excellent writing and editing skills
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Word (track changes) and online research
  7. Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  8. Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently
  9. Organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail
