Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of post-registration engineering experience demonstrating knowledge of Pre-design, Final Design, Planning, Traffic Engineering, State Aid and Construction.
• Experience in project management sufficient to prioritize and schedule multiple projects to meet letting schedules and manage budgets and staff.
• Knowledge of MnDOT standards and federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies and codes as they relate to transportation system planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, direction, and leadership from inception to completion of projects and studies.
• Lead, facilitate, and negotiate agreements with public agencies, project partners, and the public.
• Serve as the primary contact for public agencies, project partners, and the public regarding project activities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, public officials, and internal & external stakeholders.
