Vitra, Inc. in New York is seeking a talented Business Development professional to create new project opportunities and build a self-generated pipeline across North America. You will engage with architects, designers and clients early in decision-making to position Vitra as a preferred partner.

The role reports into the North America team and offers an annual target compensation between $186,000 and $220,000, with the potential for growth based on performance and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Several years of successful business development or consultative sales experience.
• Proven ability to generate opportunities through prospecting and market intelligence.
• Strong understanding of workplace decision-making processes and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English language skills and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Create new project opportunities and build a strong pipeline across priority sectors in North America.
• Identify target companies through outreach, networking, referrals and market intelligence.
• Engage with architects and designers to support project development and create Vitra specifications.
• Coordinate stakeholders throughout the project journey and maintain pipeline, forecast and KPI reporting.
