Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Treatment Sector Leader to drive technical excellence and strategic growth across North America. You will lead a community of practice, mentor talent, and shape differentiating technical approaches for water treatment projects.

You will engage with clients, lead proposals, and coordinate across regions to expand capabilities while maintaining Stantec’s collaborative leadership culture and high delivery standards.

Qualifications

• 20 years of experience leading technical delivery for water treatment projects or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited institution; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Professional licensure or willingness to obtain licensure within one year in state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a community of practice to share knowledge and drive innovation in the water sector.
• Support business development by engaging with key clients and shaping technical approaches.
• Position and pursue opportunities to differentiate Stantec’s water treatment capabilities in North America and beyond.
• Mentor and coordinate regional sector leaders and delivery teams to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery.
