Job summary

HP is seeking a seasoned Business Planning leader to drive strategic and financial planning for the US Public Sector and Canada. You will translate growth priorities into actionable plans, provide performance insights, and lead operating rhythms across leadership, finance, sales, and operations.

You will oversee forecasting, quota deployment, and performance management, delivering executive reviews and data-driven recommendations to accelerate execution and growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in business or related discipline or commensurate experience.
• Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in strategic planning.
• PMP Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic and business planning activities for US Public Sector and Canada, aligning with growth priorities and objectives.
• Develops planning frameworks, cadences, and operating reviews to provide clear visibility to health, risks, and opportunities.
• Translates strategy into actionable plans, targets, and execution priorities across leadership, finance, sales, and operations.
• Owns or enables forecasting, quota deployment, performance management, and ongoing analysis to support field effectiveness.
• Delivers executive-ready insights and business reviews to inform decisions and drive accountability.
• Identifies performance gaps through data-driven analysis and recommends actions to improve execution and growth.
• Builds analytical tools, reporting, and planning processes to enhance decision support and rigor.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and projects that advance strategic objectives and business transformation.
• Provides leadership to team members, setting goals and ensuring high-quality delivery of planning outputs.
• Promotes disciplined planning and continuous improvement across supported businesses.
