Job summary

NetApp is seeking a technically credible people leader to manage the North America Vertical Solutions team of experienced presales Solutions Architects. The role combines technical leadership with people management to deliver results, engage with sales and partner ecosystems, and drive strategic opportunities.

You will prioritize specialist engagement, mentor experts, and align team output with product bookings and customer outcomes while traveling across North America to support engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management leading technical presales or similar
• Customer-facing technical presales experience in enterprise storage or data infrastructure
• Strong technical foundation in storage architectures and data management
• Ability to guide technical discussions and resolve complex challenges
• Proven ability to lead overlay teams across account groups

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop experienced Solutions Architects across North America
• Set priorities and allocate specialist resources based on customer requirements and revenue potential
• Partner with Client Executives and sales leaders to maximize impact of specialists
• Guide technical discovery, solution design, validation, and customer presentations
• Drive bookings and track pipeline, enablement, and partner engagement
• Build relationships with vendors, SI partners, and internal teams for joint solutions
• Maintain CRM records and report on bookings, enablement, and outcomes
• Travel across North America to support meetings and field enablement
