Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Market Intelligence Specialist for North America to drive data-driven market insights and strategic planning. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and regional leadership to map TAM across Well Construction, Production Solutions, and other segments, translating macro trends and competitor activity into actionable guidance.

You will build scalable dashboards and executive-ready reports, enabling real-time intelligence for a broad stakeholder base and supporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or Energy Management.
MBA or Global Energy Management certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience in oilfield services, E&P, energy consulting, equity research, or energy FP&A.
Strong knowledge of upstream and broader energy activity metrics.
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for executive-level communication.
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools (Copilot, AlphaSense) and data platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead North America long- and short-term TAM planning across key segments.
Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Service Delivery, and Regions to align forecasts.
Analyze macro- and micro-economic indicators and energy market dynamics.
Develop in-depth competitor intelligence and quarterly earnings analyses.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards delivering real-time insights.
