Job summary

Adler Pelzer Group 1 in Troy, Michigan, seeks an Operations Director – North America to lead and improve operational performance across U.S. and Mexican plants, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

You will partner with Plant Managers and leaders to ensure standards are consistently met and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer – North America and requires hands-on plant leadership with strong financial acumen,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong lean, CI, Six Sigma, and productivity improvement background.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional operations leadership to Plant Managers across North America.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Develop and execute annual budgets, forecasts, and productivity improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across multiple sites.
