Job summary

CPG Talent Management is seeking a Director of North America Operations to lead manufacturing, planning, inventory, quality, and project execution across North America from Addison, IL. This is a hands-on, floor‑level leadership role in a lean organization, driving efficiency and profitability.

The role includes consolidating two sites into a new state‑of‑the‑art facility, expanding from a single weekday shift to two shifts, and building a high‑performing team of about 15 across production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, manufacturing, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
• Experience in machine tool, engineered-to-order, custom machine build, capital equipment, or automation.
• Strong production scheduling and labor planning skills.
• Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP, inventory management, and manufacturing financials.
• Hands-on leader in a lean organization with strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and operational functions including machining, assembly, planning, inventory control, logistics, and facilities.
• Own production scheduling, resource planning, inventory management, and material availability.
• Plan and execute consolidation into a new facility and expand to two shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement, quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, labor utilization, costs, and capital investments.
• Develop and coach a high-performing operations team and ensure safety and compliance.
