Job summary
STS, based at the North America headquarters in Troy, Michigan, seeks an Operations Director to lead and optimize multi-site manufacturing across the US and Mexico. You will partner with Plant Managers and senior leaders to drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction while aligning regional priorities with corporate strategy.
The role requires a strong track record in plant leadership, lean manufacturing, and financial acumen, with readiness to travel frequently and work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
- Experience leading multiple plants and cross-functional teams preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership to Plant Managers across North America.
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
- Partner with COO to execute regional operations strategy and deploy priorities.
- Lead performance reviews and develop corrective action plans.
- Promote lean, standard work, and continuous improvement.
