Job summary

Covetrus, a leading animal-health technology company, seeks a Director of North America Facilities to oversee all US sites, including offices and distribution centers. You will coordinate maintenance, lead large-scale projects, and manage landlord and tenant relationships, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires extensive facilities/real estate management experience, strong stakeholder communication, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• 10 years Facilities & Real Estate Management experience
• Experience managing tenants engaging with property managers and landlords
• Proven experience in project management
• Budget management experience and proven ability to drive decisions guided by functional strategies and priorities
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• 20% travel

Responsibilities

• Oversee US-based Covetrus locations including offices, distribution centers, and call centers.
• Coordinate maintenance programs for each location.
• Manage relationships with landlords, brokers, and subtenants.
• Lead facility-related projects including construction, remodels, relocations.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress across multiple sites.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate IT & HR resources and third parties for project execution.
• Prepare reports for upper management on project status and budget.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using proper verification techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and client relationships.
