Job summary

Sealed Air in Charlotte, NC is seeking a North America Director, EHS&S to provide strategic leadership for Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability programs across 40+ manufacturing facilities.

You will drive regulatory compliance, reduce operational risk, and foster a proactive culture of accountability and care. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain and executive leadership to deliver sustainable safety and environmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Multi-site manufacturing EHS&S leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA and safety standards.
• Experience leading machine safety initiatives and risk reduction.
• Ability to influence leaders and build relationships with plant leadership.
• Data-driven mindset to analyze KPIs and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for EHS&S across 40+ facilities.
• Develop and deploy world-class EHS&S systems.
• Lead audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership.
• Mentor regional EHS&S leaders and support succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and related regulations.
