Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Distribution Manager – North America to drive growth through major distributor partnerships and strategic channel initiatives. You will collaborate with sales, product management and marketing to expand revenue and market share across North America.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years in distribution management within electronics, a proven revenue growth track record, and strong relationship and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–10 years of experience in sales, channel or distribution management within electronics/interconnect.
• Proven track record growing revenue via distribution channels.
• Strong relationship-building and account-management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with North American distribution partners.
• Develop and execute channel growth strategies to increase revenue, market penetration, and customer engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities through distribution networks and coordinate with internal sales teams.
• Drive distributor performance through regular business reviews, pipeline management, forecasting and planning.
• Partner with distributor sales teams to develop account penetration strategies and support customer acquisition.
• Monitor sales performance, bookings, backlog and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct distributor training sessions and product presentations to improve market awareness and sales effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service and Regional Sales to support channel initiatives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on channel performance.
• Represent ACPA at customer visits, distributor meetings, industry events and trade shows as needed.
