Zusammenfassung

Room to Read seeks an experienced fundraising leader to drive growth in the North America market. The Director/Senior Director, Development, North America will set the market’s fundraising strategy, lead performance against an annual revenue target of approximately US$35MM+, personally manage and solicit high-value donors, and lead the North America development team.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of fundraising leadership with market-level responsibility.
• Proven track record closing six- to seven-figure gifts from HNW/UHNW donors, foundations, and/or corporate partners.
• Experience closing at least US$5MM annually in philanthropic revenue.
• Experience developing and executing fundraising strategies for a multi-million-dollar market or portfolio.
• Strong major-gift portfolio and pipeline management experience, including prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop fundraising staff with senior executives, boards, and volunteers.

• Own North America fundraising strategy and revenue plans.
• Lead achievement of the market's US$35MM+ annual revenue target across major gifts, corporate and foundation partnerships, annual giving, legacy giving, and events.
• Personally manage a high-value donor portfolio with a target of US$7–10MM+ annually.
• Lead and develop a North America development team of 3–5 staff and ensure accountability for results.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, boards, and volunteers to expand fundraising opportunities and donor networks.
