Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a North America Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Commercial Manager to lead EHS strategy across our North America Commercial organization in Johnston, IA.

The role partners with commercial leadership to build a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk management across sales, marketing, agronomy, and operations. The position requires 8-10 years of EHS/commercial experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to influence leaders

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety or Commercial experience.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives and performance improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of North America Commercial EHS strategies aligned with business objectives and global EHS vision.
  • Partner with Commercial Leadership Teams to foster a proactive safety culture across sales, marketing, agronomy, customer service, and support functions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for EHS programs, policies, standards, and initiatives across commercial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local EHS regulatory requirements.
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for commercial activities, including field operations, customer events, travel, fleet safety, and facilities.
  • Conduct investigations of significant incidents and drive corrective actions.

As the North America EHS Commercial Manager, you will develop and implement EHS strategies that protect our employees, contractors, customers, and communities while enabling business growth.
