Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead EHS programs at the on-site production facility.

You will partner with site leadership, employees, and contractors to build a strong safety culture, identify hazards, and respond to incidents with thorough investigations. You will maintain safety training, permits, and records, and manage the site's annual safety budget while driving continuous improvement to reduce injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Two years of manufacturing/operations, agriculture, training, or safety related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence others and lead without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation and execution of safety, health, environmental, and security programs at the site.
  • Work with site leaders, contractors, and visitors to build a strong safety culture.
  • Manage EHS incidents including reporting, investigation, and follow-up.
  • Maintain EHS records, permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and manage the annual site safety budget.

As the Safety Supervisor, you will lead the execution of environmental, health, safety, and security programs at the production facility by partnering with site leadership, employees, contractors, and visitors to build and sustain a strong safety culture. You will identify and mitigate risks through audits, line walks, and assessments; manage EHS incidents to ensure proper response, investigation, and follow‑up; and ensure all safety training, compliance documentation, permits, and records are accurately maintained. Through continuous improvement efforts, collaboration with regional EHS partners, and effective communication, you will reduce hazards, prevent injuries and compliance events, and manage the site’s annual safety budget while supporting safe, compliant, and efficient operations.VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation assistance is offered for this positionThis role will be 100% on-site at the location.What You’ll Do:Coordinate the implementation and execution of company safety, health environmental, and security programs/ standards/, and policies at the siteWork closely with site leaders; team members; contractors and visitors to build and sustain a healthy safety culture at the siteIdentify, resolve, and document unsafe acts and conditions through regular line walks, audits, and risk assessmentsManage EHS incidents through a coordinated effort with the site leadership team and regional EHS support to ensure proper response, reporting, investigation, and follow upEnsure safety training expectations are executed at the site for full time and contingent workers, contractors, and visitorsMaintain accurate EHS records, permits, and compliance documentation.Execute EHS continuous improvement efforts at the site aimed at reducing injury & illness risk, removing hazards, and avoiding compliance eventsEngage with EHS communities, regional EHS consultants, and other stakeholders to execute EHS programs and projectsDevelop and manage the annual safety budget for the siteVarious other duties as assignedLocation Specific Items:Be a member of our Location Management TeamLead Root Cause Analysis meetingsEducation:High School diploma/GEDWhat Skills You Need:You have two years of manufacturing/operations, agriculture, training, or safety related experience and/or education.Holds a valid driver's license with ability to drive a company vehicle when neededExcellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal) with ability to speak comfortably and confidently in front of groupsAbility to influence others without authorityDemonstrates solid coaching, leadership, problem solving, delegation, and decision-making skillsWilling and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, dry, and dusty conditionsProficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Exhibits high attention to detail to maintain awareness of existing and proposed safety codes/regulations and company guidelinesWillingness and flexibility to work overtime hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed during seasonal peaks to support business needsPhysical Job Requirements:Stand and sit for extended periodsWork both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditionsLift up to 60 lbs.Perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingExposure to dust and plant allergens including but not limited to corn, sunflower, cotton, and canola pollen and protein and sorghum as well as potential mold spores and/or chemicals in the course of your dutiesReasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.What Makes You Stand Out:Bachelor's degree.
