Job summary

MariaDB seeks a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to lead new business in the Nordic region. You will drive revenue growth, manage enterprise opportunities, and work with partners to close strategic deals from Norway to Finland and beyond.

The role requires 5+ years in SaaS sales, a hunter mentality, and the ability to navigate complex cycles. Remote work in the Nordics is supported, with travel as needed and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years SaaS sales experience, preferably in enterprise markets.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota and closing complex enterprise deals.
• Strong executive-level communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Familiarity with Sales Navigator, SFDC, Clari, Salesloft, Nooks is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to travel within the Nordic region and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Set a strategic sales plan for territories aligned with GTM strategy.
• Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline with prospects and partners.
• Maintain accurate forecast and opportunity stages.
• Navigate complex sales cycles using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC.
• Build relationships with enterprise stakeholders and executives.
• Prepare quarterly business reviews for senior management.
• Develop account plans to retain and expand existing customers.
