Job summary

Preferred Employers Insurance, A Berkley Company, is seeking a Manager of Sales & Distribution - Northern California to lead the Bay Area and Central Coast sales territory. This on-the-road role focuses on broker relationships, program sales, and strategic growth across Walnut Creek, San Francisco and San Jose areas.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS, a California Insurance Broker-License, 10+ years of insurance experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office software.
• Active California Insurance Broker-License.
• 10+ years of insurance experience; California experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and drive sales plans with both current brokers and new brokers to meet company goals.
• Identify, develop, implement, and manage program sales plans with target groups of business owners to meet sales goals.
• Monitor new sales and retention metrics monthly to ensure premium plan goal achievement.
• Collaborate with all company departments to optimize PEI's brand offering to the marketplace.
• Prospect and qualify deals originating from territory; maintain high outbound activity.
• Travel and work from home office and PEI's Walnut Creek/San Diego office as needed.
