Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a part-time Noontime Aide to supervise students during meals and related activities. The calendar reflects 1801 PT/180 work days with paid holidays and PTO. Starting rate is $16.53 per hour, with annual performance pay up to $600 prorated by FTE.

Calendar is 9-month with specific duties to monitor and support student safety and wellbeing. Associates degree or higher may be considered for a 1% increase based on experience, with a total potential

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work with children at different age levels.
Some experience in rearing, supervising, or working with children.
Good human relations skills.
Knowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rules.

Responsibilities

Maintain surveillance of the assigned area to assure safe and responsible conduct.
Foster and maintain effective relationships with students.
Monitor the activities of students at play or in the cafeteria.
Counsel and intervene to prevent unacceptable behavior.
Refer disciplinary cases to the appropriate authority.
Report unauthorized persons on school premises.
Notify the school health office in case of an accident.
Perform all duties safely and prudently as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
