Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Noontime Aide for a part-time 2-hour daily shift. The role focuses on supervising students in the cafeteria and nearby areas, ensuring safe, orderly activities during lunchtime and related periods.

Starting pay is $16.53 per hour, with opportunities for closure of the workday across 9-month calendar, paid holidays, PTO, and potential growth credits based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with children at different age levels.
• Experience in rearing, supervising, or working with children is helpful.
• Good human relations skills and adherence to policies and rules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the activities of children in the cafeteria or other facility.
• Foster and maintain relationships with students.
• Monitor activities of students at play or in the cafeteria.
• Counsel and intervene to prevent unacceptable behavior; refer disciplinary cases as needed.
• Report unauthorized persons on school premises; notify health office in case of an accident.
• Perform duties safely and prudently and support overall objectives.
