Job summary

Ward Traditional Academy in Tempe, Arizona is seeking a Noon Aide (0.25 FTE) to support lunchrooms and school grounds safety for students. Immediate start with the 181-day school year.

The position pays $15.15 per hour and requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, and an IVP fingerprint clearance card. The role involves supervising students, enforcing rules, assisting with meals and transitions, and performing light cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience working with and/or supervising children
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• No previous experience required

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety of students in lunchrooms and school grounds.
• Counsel and/or intervene with students to ensure acceptable behavior.
• Report observations and/or incidents relating to students to appropriate school personnel.
• Respond to emergency situations to address safety concerns.
• Escorting students to and from classrooms.
• Assisting students in lunchroom and/or school grounds.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks (clean up spills, floor, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
