Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall is seeking a Noodle Bar Server to enhance guest experience with premiere service in a fast-paced environment. You will initiate conversations, anticipate needs, and build relationships while maintaining clean, sanitary work areas per Health Department standards.

Responsibilities include taking beverage orders, handling cash, up-selling, and ensuring accurate payments. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and obtain Kentucky gaming license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass required pre-screening and background checks.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver beverage orders accurately in a timely manner.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
• Provide correct change to guests.
• Engage guests to create memorable experiences and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain clean and organized service area and equipment.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure secure cash handling during shift.
• Deliver BIG service to internal and external guests and meet guest needs with friendliness and professionalism.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Noodle Bar Server enhances the guest experience by providing premiere guest service in a timely and friendly manner. The Noodle Bar Server initiates conversations with guests, anticipates guest’s needs and seeks opportunity to build relationships and create a memorable interaction. Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
• Handles cash and credit transactions associated with beverage sales, accurately and efficiently.
• Provides appropriate change to guests.
• Proactively seeks guest opportunities and anticipates guest’s needs to create "magical moments."
• Interacts with guests in a friendly manner while taking orders, to include up-selling.
• Maintain product inventory and supplies including garnishes, glassware, ice, and miscellaneous service supplies throughout shift.
• Ensure the service area is properly set up at the beginning of the shift and close the service area at the end of the shift in accordance with Company standards.
• Ensure receipt of accurate payments, balance cash drawer during shift, and maintain security and accuracy of bank.
• To provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
