Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs is seeking a friendly hospitality team member to greet guests, offering assistance and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the Noodle Bar. You will work with room staff to ensure smooth seating, accurate reservations, and a consistently excellent guest experience, following standard service sequences and reporting delays or opportunities to the Noodle Bar Head Chef.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain work cards and local required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Greets each guest following service standards.
• Offers their name and assistance upon arrival.
• Engages guests with a friendly, upbeat personality and builds rapport.
• Buss and clean Noodle Bar tables and service areas.
• Collaborate with room staff to ensure guest experience and dining flow.
• Reports seating delays or guest opportunities to the Noodle Bar Head Chef.
• Uses reservation tools, records reservations/cancellations, and updates counts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets each guest in accordance with sequence of service standards
• Offers their name and assistance upon the guest's arrival.
• Engages all guests with a consistently friendly and upbeat personality and strives to establish rapport with all Noodle Bar patrons.
• Buss and clean Noodle Bar tables and service areas.
• Works collaboratively with all room staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience and the proper flow of the dining room and bar.
• Immediately reports any excessive delay in the seating of guests or potential guest opportunities to the Noodle Bar Head Chef.
• Effectively utilizes all reservation tools, accurately records reservations and cancellations, and updates the room manager of expected reservation counts before and throughout the shift.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Transfer and Promotion Policy.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
