Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Manager in the Industry Specialty Services Group's Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory to help mission-driven organizations modernize operating models and strengthen financial and programmatic reporting.

Working with executive leadership, finance and operations teams, you will lead ERP and grants management implementations, redesign business processes, and guide AI-enabled transformation while supervising consultants and advising Boards on governance and risk.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of consulting, nonprofit finance, operations, technology, or enterprise transformation experience, including leading ERP, financial system, grants management system, or enterprise technology implementations, with a focus on nonprofits.
• Three or more years of experience with nonprofit accounting principles.
• Prior supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MPA preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains current and potential/new client relationships with foundations, local government, partner organizations, and direct service providers.
• Supervises ISSG staff through training, guidance, and coaching.
• Leads enterprise transformation engagements focused on operational excellence, technology modernization, organizational effectiveness, and financial sustainability for nonprofit and grantmaking organizations.
• Oversees ERP, financial management systems, grants management systems, budgeting and planning, CRM, and BI implementations.
• Conducts current-state assessments and designs future-state business processes across finance, accounting, grants, procurement, budgeting, reporting, and project accounting.
• Advises executive leadership and Boards on technology investments, risks, and transformation strategies.
• Supports data migration, chart of accounts redesign, reporting modernization, dashboards, and financial analytics.
