Job summary

BDO USA’s Industry Specialty Services Group seeks a Manager for its Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory team. The role focuses on transforming nonprofit finance, operations, and technology landscapes, partnering with boards and executive teams to drive financial sustainability and mission impact.

You will lead ERP and BI projects, advise on AI governance, and coach staff while delivering high-value services to nonprofit and grantmaking clients across multiple regions. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MPA preferred.
• 5+ years of nonprofit finance, operations, or enterprise transformation experience.
• Experience leading ERP/financial system implementations for nonprofits.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains client relationships with foundations, government, partners, and providers.
• Leads enterprise transformation engagements focused on operational excellence and financial sustainability.
• Oversees ERP, grants management, budgeting, CRM, and BI implementations.
• Designs future-state processes across finance, grants, procurement, and reporting.
• Advises on AI governance, data readiness, and automation strategies.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
