Job summary

The YMCA of the Greater Louisville is seeking an HR Recruiter to provide direct staffing services and serve as an employee liaison at the Norton Common branch. The role focuses on recruiting staff, onboarding new hires, and maintaining positive member and employee relationships to support branch and association success.

Responsibilities include attending job fairs, managing online postings, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring trainings are scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the YMCA mission and demonstrate a nurturing, genuine, hopeful and welcoming nature.
• Attend job fairs and organize recruitment efforts at the branch level.
• Maintain online job postings and coordinate with leadership to keep postings active.
• Ensure onboarding documents are sent to HR to begin the onboarding process.
• Stay in contact with new hires to complete onboarding materials in a timely manner.
• Record onboarding completions in the HR tracking system.
• Maintain inventory of uniforms and place orders as needed.
• Ensure staff complete required trainings and schedule them as needed.
• Maintain relationships with togetherhood volunteers for quarterly events.
• Attend health fairs to recruit members and staff.
• Visit schools and communities to share information about memberships and jobs.
