Job summary

Fuse3 Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to support nonprofit financial operations in Owasso, OK. You will record transactions accurately and assist with month-end and year-end closes in a GAAP-compliant environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage Intacct. You will collaborate with the finance team to prepare statements and grant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience; nonprofit or fund accounting a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP; familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud Financial Edge and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage deadlines.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice coding and donor/grant receipts.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger by fund, program, and grant.
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Assist with grant and contract financial reporting and Form 990 documentation.
• Track restricted and unrestricted fund balances.
• Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting.
• Support payroll processing and related journal entries as needed.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
