Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including exposure to general ledger activities, reconciliations, nonprofit accounting or related environments.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accurate coding and timely completion.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for recurring and non-routine activities.
• Assist with administration and accounting of designated program funds, grants, or restricted resources.
• Monitor fund activity and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Record and reconcile cash receipts, deposits, and banking transactions with accurate records.
• Support corporate card administration, expense reviews, and payment reconciliations.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end/annual close activities.
• Coordinate with auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
