Job summary

CA Black Health Network (CBHN) seeks a highly organized Office & Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the organization. This role oversees day-to-day operations, financial activities, HR processes, and governance, ensuring compliant, efficient support for leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in nonprofit operations, office management, finance, or organizational administration.
• Experience supporting executive leadership.
• Strong nonprofit financial management experience and experience with external accounting firms.
• Experience supporting grant-funded organizations preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and office infrastructure for in-person and virtual work environments.
• Develop and improve operational systems, workflows, and policies.
• Coordinate finance and accounting tasks with internal and external partners.
• Support payroll, invoicing, and banking activities with proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, and Excel.
• Manage HR processes including onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee records.
• Ensure compliance and maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards for leadership.
• Coordinate travel and meeting logistics; anticipate leadership needs and resolve issues proactively.
