Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years of fund development experience in Central Florida or similar sales/revenue generation.
• Major gifts experience preferred.
• Strong track record in board management and recruitment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for addressing childhood hunger and food insecurity.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight by plane.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies with regional and organizational teams.
• Oversee chapter budget and ensure funds meet the mission.
• Recruit, manage, and activate advisory board members.
• Represent Blessings in a Backpack at events, speaking engagements, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional program team to ensure smooth operations.
• Cultivate strong community relationships.
• Manage the Chapter Coordinator to achieve goals.
