You will plan fundraising events, write appeals, and cultivate donors while partnering with a dedicated board. A strong team player with ethical fundraising sense is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years in development or related area.
• At least 3 years of proven fundraising experience and development success.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with strong time management.
• Excellent oral and written communications; attention to detail and proofreading.
• Experience using internet and social media to enhance development and marketing.
• Upholds ethics and confidentiality standards.

Responsabilités

• Produce a long term unrestricted funding stream with growth potential.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from individuals through events and tours.
• Maintain donors and prospects database; plan and execute fundraising events.
• Write, edit and produce all appeal materials.
• Develop consistent restricted funding and identify grant opportunities.
• Manage relationships with grantors and assist in grant concepts.
• Build community awareness; write newsletters and press releases; manage media relations.
• Support board development and communications; coordinate non-direct volunteers.
