Job summary

Magnify of Central Florida seeks a Director of Development and Marketing to grow philanthropic support and lead communications that advance opportunity for people with disabilities. This fundraising-first role combines donor relationships, personal solicitation, strategy, and team leadership.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will help build a department that includes a Manager of Marketing and Communications and a Development Operations Coordinator.

Qualifications

Ten+ years nonprofit development with fundraising leadership.
Proven donor cultivation and solicitation across major gifts and events.
Strong planning, budgeting, forecasting, writing and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree; master's or fundraising certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Personally cultivate, solicit, renew, and steward donors with executives and volunteers.
Lead annual, major, corporate, parish, and legacy giving with a budget and forecast.
Develop funder relations, grants, and cases for support with Finance and programs.
Coach direct reports; guide messaging; empower Marketing Manager.
Oversee Harvest Ball fundraising, sponsorships, and donor experience.
