Internationalinsuranceprofessionals is hiring an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting activities. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, vendor processing, month-end close, and audit support.

The role requires nonprofit/grant accounting experience and proficiency with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and Excel. Primary tasks involve reconciling ledgers, submitting vouchers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Nonprofit, grant accounting, and compliance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting systems, preferably Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, and Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end close.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounts receivable for assigned programs, including recording invoices and payments.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and checks and coordinate follow-up with funders and program staff.
• Reconcile assigned bank, accounts receivable, revenue, and other general ledger accounts monthly.
• Complete month-end close procedures, including journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and submit monthly vouchers and supporting documentation for assigned programs.
• Support SSA Representative Payee audits and maintain audit-ready records.
• Enter vendor invoices with proper coding and supporting documentation.
• Record and reconcile Representative Payee expenses and credit card statements.
• Prepare routine and adjusting journal entries and assist with financial reports.
