Job summary

Tri-County Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Finance Officer to support all financial operations under the CFO.

Responsibilities include recording transactions, payroll processing, grant invoicing, budgeting, and audit support to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of nonprofit accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4+ years of business accounting experience.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficient in office software and accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Record receipts and disbursements to the general ledger.
• Generate timely financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• Assist with grant invoicing and payroll functions.
• Process accounts payable and support annual audits.
• Collaborate with CFO and managers on budgets and funding requests.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reporting standards.
