Job summary

Community Health Connections, Inc. seeks an Accountant / Financial Analyst to partner with the VP of Finance, ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting and asset management for the health center. You will handle monthly closes, grant budgeting and reporting, and general ledger activities in a busy on-site office.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2 to 5 years accounting experience—preferably with grants and payroll.
• Non-profit setting experience preferred, ideally healthcare.
• Advanced Excel and database management skills required.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision and meet job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly closing process and related accounting duties.
• Manage grants and contracts budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Grant Program Directors on grant requirements and timelines.
• Support annual audits and IRS/MA filings as needed.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger and various account schedules.
