Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist in the preparation of financial statements, record complex journal entries, and support the monthly close. The role emphasizes variance analysis, grant reporting, and compliance while coordinating with government partners.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and GL systems skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3 years of related work experience.
Computer skills including Excel, Word, and general ledger systems.
The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

Review monthly financial results against budget and provide variance analytics.
Manage the monthly market billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Monitor and maintain accounts receivable balances, including collections.
Prepare grant-related financial reporting and documentation.
Serve as accounting liaison for government agencies and funding partners.
Coordinate with Revenue Cycle to ensure accurate revenue and AR reconciliations.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with month-end close.
Support annual financial statement audits.
