A development coordinator helps organize and administer fundraising efforts for a non-profit organization. As a development coordinator, your primary duties include scheduling and planning fundraising events, monitoring staff and volunteer calendars and event attendance, and overseeing event budgets and resources. To pursue a career as a development coordinator, you need a high school diploma or equivalent and familiarity with the non-profit sector.
The Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the fundraising and development team by managing and coordinating all activities related to donor relations, fundraising campaigns, special events, and other development initiatives. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Development and CEO to ensure the successful execution of all projects, programs, and events. The coordinator will also support grant writing and managing the grant folder.
