Job summary

Feeding South Florida is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to oversee all revenue streams, including donations, grants, and customer payments. You will maintain accurate records, prepare reconciliations, and support internal controls in a nonprofit finance environment.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting or finance and 2–3 years of experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Non-profit experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
• Experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Record daily deposits, donations, customer payments, and program revenues.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate accounts receivable by sub-ledger.
• Process recurring payments, ACH receipts, and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and issue invoices to partner agencies, customers, and grant funders.
• Track invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain donor and funding records per compliance standards.
• Reconcile with Philanthropy to reflect restricted funding.
• Reconcile revenue transactions with the general ledger monthly.
• Assist with month-end close and revenue recognition tasks.
• Prepare aging reports and cash receipt summaries.
• Coordinate with Development to reconcile donor gifts between CRM and accounting.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for receivables.
