Job summary

PanCare of Florida is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations, including purchasing, AP/AR, and grants accounting in a nonprofit healthcare setting. The position is based in Panama City, Florida.

Responsibilities include processing AP, invoices, check runs, GL entries, and assisting with audits. The successful candidate will have an associate degree, 1+ year in bookkeeping, and proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in nonprofit or government.
• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience including AP/AR.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable cycle promptly and accurately.
• Process check requests for correctness and code accuracy.
• Input invoices and GL entries in a timely manner.
• Print checks, reports, and reconcile AP related data.
• Assist with payroll/benefits processing backups.
• Support audits by providing required documents.
• Collaborate with staff and management to provide financial data.
