Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties assigned by Supervisor(s) and assist the Assistant Controller in end-of-period closings and audit preparation.
• Manage daily Accounts Payable operations and ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Review and approve invoices, payment batches, and adjustments within established authorization limits.
• Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies before period-end closing.
• Develop analytical and technical skills to increase accuracy and productivity; assist in training other staff to improve and enrich knowledge.
• Maintain strong internal controls and oversee vendor records, payment compliance, and annual Form 1099 reporting.
• Attend onsite and offsite meetings as needed.
