Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is hiring an Accountant to serve nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia market. The role involves working with clients both virtually and on‑site, interfacing with client staff, Boards, and Finance Committees, with potential for promotion to a Controller level.

Starting base salary ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 for a 35-hour work week, with overtime potential and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to client offices when safe to do so.
• Nonprofit experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly financials and related analysis.
• Grant tracking and monitoring.
• Cash flow projections and monitoring.
• Preparation for outside audits.
