Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader delivering outsourced accounting to nonprofits. We offer a hybrid work environment and a 35-hour week, seeking a hands-on Controller to serve multiple nonprofit clients.

Responsibilities include financial reporting, internal controls, grant management, audits, and client staff training. Starting salary is $110,000–$150,000 with strong benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-7+ years accounting experience.
• Experience in a remote environment preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks and electronic bill pay systems.
• CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients.
• Financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations.
• Recommend/implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies.
• Transactional activities including AP, AR, payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting.
• Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting.
• Prepare for and manage annual audit.
• Client and staff training opportunities.
