Jet HomeLoans, LP is a National Mortgage Lender with a focus on Non-QM products and complex borrower scenarios. The role sits in Bluffton, SC, supporting underwriting of bank-statement and alternative-income loans.

You will ensure salable loans, stay current with guidelines, and collaborate with sales, processing, and compliance teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Non-QM underwriting experience, strong guideline knowledge, and proficiency with mortgage software such as Encompass.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Non-QM mortgage underwriting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Non-QM investor guidelines and bank-statement programs.
• Ability to evaluate complex borrower scenarios and decide within guidelines.
• Familiarity with TRID, TILA, ECOA and HMDA.
• Proficient with mortgage software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Non-QM loans including bank-statement programs.
• Ensure loans are salable and meet investor guidelines.
• Stay updated with investor/insurer guidelines.
• Analyze income, assets, and credit documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, processing, underwriting, closing, and compliance teams.
• Address QA/QC reviews and report gaps.
• Close loans timely and meet KPI metrics.
• Interpret loan documents and respond to inquiries.
