Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, security practices, and deposits.
• Effective interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow plan‑o‑gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Authorize refunds and overrides; count registers; ensure deposits are made.
• Maintain financial integrity through strict cash accountability and key control.
• Manage store operations in Store Manager's and Assistant Manager's absence.
• Assist in training employees and ensuring adequate scheduling coverage.
• Lead training in stocking, presentation standards, and hourly recovery to model store standards.
• Oversee receiving, merchandising, pricing, and signage to support POP and planograms.
• Ensure proper unloading of trucks, inventory rotation, and staging for new deliveries.
