Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Authorize refunds and overrides; count register and deposit money.
• Maintain cash accountability and security practices.
• Manage store in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Train employees as directed and mentor associates.
• Train in stocking and presentation standards for Non-Food.
• Ensure adequate scheduling coverage and staff coverage.
• Oversee non-food department training and processes.
• Implement proper merchandising, pricing, and Was/Now signage.
• Minimize damages and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Follow cash handling procedures and security practices.
• Ensure orderly receiving area and proper merchandise flow.
• Direct unloading of new merchandise and plan according to layout.
• Maintain rotation of perishable items and stock reserve inventory.
