Dollar General Branded in Branford, FL seeks a dedicated Manager on Duty to lead the Non-Food Department and the store during assigned shifts. You will oversee inventory, customer service, merchandising, safety, and cash controls to protect assets and maintain store goals.

The role requires strong math and cash handling skills, prior retail leadership, and the ability to train staff, schedule coverage, and execute company standards like plan-o-gram and signing.

Competenze

• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

• Authorize refunds and overrides; count register; deposit money in bank.
• Maintain store financial integrity through cash accountability and security practices.
• Manage store in Store Manager's and Assistant Manager's absence.
• Train employees and provide leadership to the Non-Food department.
• Train associates in stocking and presentation standards and in hourly recovery.
• Ensure adequate scheduling coverage and follow the Store 7 Day Workflow Plan.
• Oversee receiving, pricing, inventory, and signage; ensure adherence to policies.
