Job summary

Behr Iron and Metal, An Alter Trading Company, in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for Non-Ferrous operations. This role oversees the NF team, schedules production and shipments, and ensures accurate data entry in our system.

You will lead safety training, drive efficiencies to reduce monthly costs, and maintain traceability of materials. Requires 3–5 years of supervisor experience and hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisor experience.
• Experience in metals recycling operations or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Familiar with operations, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and heavy equipment.
• Excellent open communication style and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and track daily production to meet sales expectations.
• Oversee and develop the NF operations team, schedule production & shipments.
• Input data accurately into the Production Tracker and Monthly Production Logs.
